The 100 Club of RI Scholarship Committee received 40 applications this year, 13 from the police community and 27 from the fire community. With the approval of the Board of Directors the committee was able to select 8 recipients, 4 from the police community and 4 from the fire community. Each scholarship recipient will receive $2,500 for each academic year for a total of $10,000. Each recipient received their Award Certificates at our Annual Awards and Recognition Banquet at the Squantum Association.

At the 2018 Annual Meeting of the 100 Club of Rhode Island, this year’s scholarship winners were presented with their awards. The recipients were as follows:

The 100 Club of Rhode Island has pledged $50,000 to the RIAFC Foundation’s project to build the RI Firefighters Memorial at the RI Fire Academy.
