The 100 Club of RI Scholarship Committee received 40 applications this year, 13 from the police community and 27 from the fire community. With the approval of the Board of Directors the committee was able to select 8 recipients, 4 from the police community and 4 from the fire community. Each scholarship recipient will receive $2,500 for each academic year for a total of $10,000. Each recipient received their Award Certificates at our Annual Awards and Recognition Banquet at the Squantum Association.
Recipients from our fire community:
Ms. Erin Faucher of Barrington will attending West Chester University majoring in Criminal Justice. Erin is the daughter of Jonathon and Kimberly Faucher. Jonathon serves with the Warwick Fire Dept.
Mr. Derin Paskanik of Woonsocket will be attending Post University with a major in Sports Management. Derin is the son of Jason and Tracey Paskanik. Janson serves with the Woonsocket Fire Dept.
Mr. Ryan Sutherland of Pawtucket will be attending the University of RI with a major in Criminal Justice. Ryan is the son of Christopher and Jacqueline Sutherland. Christopher serves with the Pawtucket Fire Dept.
Ms. Emily Veresko of Chepachet will be attending Clarkson University with a major in Health Sciences. Emily is the daughter of Stephen and Melissa Veresko. Stephen serves with the Johnston Fire Dept.

Mr. Jacob Fernandes of Coventry will be attending the Massachusetts Maritime Academy majoring in Emergency Management. Jacob is the son of Christopher and Suzanne Fernandes. Christopher serves with the Warwick Police Dept.
Ms. Abigail Sinotte of Coventry will be attending Brown University majoring in Applied Mathematics. Abigail is the daughter of Jeanna and the late John Sinotte. John served with the Johnston Police Dept.
Ms. Madison Whitman of Harrisville, is a graduate of Burrillville High School and will be attending RI College with a major in Criminal Justice. Madison is the daughter of Mark and Danielle Whitman. Mark serves with the Cranston Police Dept.
Mr. Cameron Toussaint of Coventry will be attending Seaton Hall University with a major in Finance. He is the first recipient of the “Edward J. Marchwick, Jr. Scholarship” established in honor of long time Treasurer of the 100 Club of RI who died last year.Cameron is the son of Jean and Tonya Toussaint. Jean serves with the Warwick Police Dept.
